How does AI grading work?
When you record an explanation, your voice is transcribed on-device using Apple's Speech Recognition. The text transcript is sent to our AI service which grades your accuracy, completeness, and clarity against the key concepts of the topic. Results typically arrive in 3 to 8 seconds.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free includes daily challenges and a limited number of graded reps per day. Pro ($1.99/week or $49.99/year with a 1-week free trial) unlocks detailed AI feedback, expert explanations, AI-generated follow-up questions, full concept coverage breakdowns, and unlimited daily grading.
Can I study my own material?
Yes. Use "Explain Anything" to type any topic, or use "Import" to paste your own notes, textbook excerpts, or articles. EchoLearn generates explanation prompts customized to your material.
Why does EchoLearn need microphone access?
The core feature requires you to speak your explanation out loud. Microphone access is used only during recording sessions you initiate. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings.
How do I restore my purchases?
Open EchoLearn, navigate to the paywall screen, and tap "Restore Purchases." This syncs your subscription status with the App Store. Ensure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you originally used.
